Online Sales Director
Our Client is a leading European group with a focus on consumer media and learning services. Within decades they bring information, experiences, education and entertainment to millions of people every day across the Europe. With its over 10,000 professionals the Company is present in more than 20 countries. Due to unparallel growth and further expansion to Easter European countries, the Company is looking to hire and exceptional individual who will take a role as a Sales Director for the Online start up company, who will be based in Warsaw office.
Job description:
- Build up and execute the plan for local, online webshops
- Set up and build a relation with new customers (webshops) and affiliates
- Build up a relation with local data suppliers (merchants or other companies)
- Reach targets (based on client visits, number of clients connected or other kpi's)
- Close deals with local webshops & affiliates (offering, contracting)
- Execute the sales strategy according to the Groups policy
- Reporting to international manager based in Europe.
Tasks
- Visit local webshops & local affiliate networks
- Visit merchants or other relevant partners
- Visit data suppliers and establish an efficient cooperation
- Preparation and follow up tenders
- Start and follow up of contract negotiations
- Represent the company at fairs and events
- Cooperate with international team
- Frequently contact with international office to inform about relevant market information
- Fluent Polish and English
- Based in Warsaw and domestic Poland
- Frequently travelling to the European headquarter (up to 4 times per month)
- 5-10 years online experience is essential
- More than 5 years commercial experience
- Online shopping experience, preferably in electronic products highly desirable
- Understanding of the local online market and online shoppers behaviour
- Strong network across the online industry, agencies, etc
