Due to the growth of Jacobs Global Design Centre, we are currently looking for Office Lead/Transportation Sector Lead. This is a full time permanent position based in our Warsaw office.

Coordinate cross-discipline teamwork and communication regarding delivery of local and international projects,

Provides leadership and management for team members across the office,

Serves as the main point of contact for the office, with responsibility for delivery and growth plans.

Serve as the office lead, with oversight of the transportation team, liaising with the country sector manager

Manage the organization and planning of the site team activities in order to determine the short and long term priorities of the work area and maximize quality, efficiency and continuity

Communicates effectively, both written and verbally with supervisors and subordinates

Establishes cooperative relationships with subordinates, vendors, contractors, and all others contacted during work assignments

Ensures that all processes are in accordance with the general Jacobs policies and organization procedures

Directs development and implementation of the quality and safety plans, all within the framework of Jacobs’ strategies, policies, budgets and procedures.

Oversees technical training and development of junior and intermediate team members

Reviews training requirements and career planning to achieve short and long term objectives.

Ensures that a quality system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO / internal requirements and standards

- Civil Engineering degree with transportation specialization
- International experience including leading, managing and developing large teams
- Experience working with multiple office execution and remote delivery, supporting international offices and projects
- Excellent English and Polish language skills
- Proficient use of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%
- Business qualifications / MBA would be an advantage
