KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Strong competency with Microsoft based technologies including Microsoft Server, Active Directory and infrastructure services (DNS/DHCP/WINS).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure AD, with emphasis on MS Exchange Online, messaging, mail-filtering and security.
- Thorough understanding of Cisco routing and switching protocols.
- Full understanding of Windows 10 Direct Access and other VPN/remote access solutions.
- Understanding of MPLS networks, SD WAN, IPSEC and SSL VPN solutions.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN/WLAN and associated networking protocols.
- Knowledge of firewalls / DMZ / reverse proxy and network security.
- Expertise in design and use of a Public Key Infrastructure within a Microsoft Active Directory environment
- Strong understanding of enterprise wireless networking solutions including RADIUS-based authentication technologies, Cisco WLAN controllers and access points.
- Knowledge of server infrastructure design in large data centers.
- SAML/ADFS experience is highly desirable.
- Understanding of infrastructure-in-the-cloud services.
- Expertise and understanding of proxy and web-filtering solutions
- Full knowledge of security principals and related protocols such as 802.1x
- In-depth understanding of VoIP and unified communication/collaboration solutions including video conferencing, instant messaging and web/audio meeting technologies.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- At least five years’ experience with a multi-national company in a senior and comparable IT role.
- Minimum of Cisco CCNP qualification, although CCIE is highly desirable.
- Expertise with Checkpoint firewalls or similar firewall solutions.
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft infrastructure and network-related server roles and technologies.
- Demonstrable experience in coordinating and delivering on large-scale technical projects.
- Experience with, and a working understanding of the ITIL Framework
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements and IT Entity-Level and General Controls.

Main Tasks:
• Acquire and maintain a holistic overview of the Group’s IT network and communications design topology across multiple business units.
• Develop and sustain all network-related documentation including site design specifications, hardware selection standards, IP addressing schemas, inventory, and policy documents.
• Liaise with IT teams within local business units and advise them in relation to networking and infrastructure-related projects/initiatives, ensuring that they follow corporate standards and align with Group IT strategy.
• Maintain the security and efficient performance of the Group’s electronic messaging platform, including responsibility for spam-filter policies and associated settings and configuration.
• Evaluate network designs to determine whether business requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
• Develop procedures to track, project and report network availability, reliability, capacity and utilization.
• Monitor and analyze network performance and data input/output reports to detect problems, identify inefficient use of computer resources and perform capacity planning.
• Manage and maintain the corporate Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), provide advice on its use, and plan accordingly for its development.
• Oversee the overall security of the corporate network, including responsibility for firewalls, DMZ, and remote access/VPN solutions.
• Coordinate all client-based security solutions including anti-malware and web content filtering products and their use.
