Job summary:
Network Specialist will participate in and provide leadership in the development, deployment and support of infrastructures, applications and technology initiatives, both from an architectural and operational perspective in conjunction with existing standards and methods of delivery; also collaborate with other technology teams on the deployment of globally impacting technologies, and with clients to deploy technology architectures and solutions. Research, escalate, and resolve, technology problems relating to the global technology environment. Perform and present technology performance analysis, capacity planning, and proactive health checks.
Network Specialist
Workplace: Łódź
Key responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 operational support of large networks and DC infrastructures including the following technologies of focus:
- F5 Local Traffic Managers (LTM)
- Cisco WAN/LAN Devices
- Cisco/Juniper Firewalls
- Participate in challenging international projects and maintain a high level of knowledge on the deployment of technologies.
- Define and maintain technology documentation.
- Follow established development processes and standards. Identify and propose improvements to the processes and standards as necessary.
- Problem management; diagnosis, escalation, tracking and resolution.
- Perform traffic engineering analysis on network and systems facilities.
- After hours work and part of on-call rotation.
- Very good working English (written and oral)
- Min 2 years experience in implementing complex network solutions for large scale and complex clients
- Should hold Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent network knowledge
- Have good understanding of Cisco/F5 load balancing solutions
- Have good knowledge on the network security based on Cisco/Juniper devices and IPSec and SSL VPN technologies
- Knowledge and experience of ITIL based service processes (Incident/Problem/Change Management) would be desirable
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and logical thinking skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
