We are looking for motivated software professionals for Network Interoperability Engineer positions. The challenges you will face include support of various software specification, developing, maintaining and testing processes.

Perform Network Interoperability Testing and Functional Testing between Nokia Network Elements and other vendors’ Network infra for lead customers. Carry out Device Interoperability Testing and Interoperability Development tests. Project Test planning, Test case design, and project reporting. Perform troubleshooting of interworking issues associated to Nokia network elements. Perform software and hardware upgrade on the Nokia elements to meet Interoperability testing requirements. Perform Interoperability analysis for Nokia Network element software releases
Position Requirements:
Must have:
- Understanding of 2G/3G CS/PS Core Networks and LTE EPC
- Good TCP/IP and computer networks knowledge.
- Knowledge regarding at least one of following areas:
- Integration, commissioning and troubleshooting of Core Network elements such as MSS/MSC, MGW, HLR/HSS, SGSN, MME, S-GW, PCRF, IMS.
- Protocols, procedures and signalling message flows in 2G/3G Core Networks and/or EPC.
- IP Routing and Switching (hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst switches and/or Juniper SRX product line)
- Familiarity with telecommunication open standards (3GPP, IETF, ETSI, ANSI, ITU-T)
- good communication in English (both written and spoken);
- readiness to relocate to Wroclaw, living in or nearby
- teamwork skills
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or an equivalent education;
- Previous experience in interoperability test planning and/or execution is a plus.
- Related work experience with interfaces and protocols used in CNs (Iu-CS, Iu-PS, A, Gb, S1, S11, S6a, Gx, Gm, etc.)
- Log collection and analysis skills with tools like Wireshark, NetHawk, Tektronix
