Required qualifications and skills
- proven work experience in software development
- proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer (at least 3 years of commercial experience working with Ruby and 1 year of experience with Rails framework)
- demonstrable knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
- good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL language
- basic knowledge of macOS or Linux
- great command of English (B2) - both spoken and written
- problem-solving skills
- skilled at code versioning tools such as Git
- knowledge of common libraries/gems like Bundler, Rspec, Capybara, Webmock, Capistrano, Devise, CanCan, Delayed_jobs, etc.
- familiar with Rais Command Line and Console
- We will review your resume and when you are selected to continue the interview process, our HR Manager will get in touch with you via phone or email. You will have a 20-minute talk about your experience and expectations
- In the next phase of recruitment, our HR Manager will schedule the date of the technical interview with Senior Developer who will run a 60-minute technical interview with you
- Depending on your portfolio and technical interview score you can be asked to do homework - we will send you a task and wait for your solution when you are ready
- In the space of two weeks, HR Manager will share our feedback with you
