Operational:

• Day to day monitoring of the critical path for exceptions, working collaboratively with Ethical, technical and Supply Chain colleges, and escalating to the Sourcing Manager any risks.
• Working alongside the Sourcing Manager, I assist with the product sourcing of Buying Briefs, Product Setup & Supplier Management.
• Maintenance and uploading of data, including supplier, factory & product information.
• Work collaboratively with suppliers in order to negotiate the best cost prices and solutions for Tesco and our customers.

Supplier Partnership:

• Day to day contact with our Supplier partners to ensure they remain on track to deliver against our Critical Path.
• Ensuring all factories are approved, audited and accredited and meet the required Tesco standards
• Delivering the Supplier Partnership Plan with full understanding of our supplier capability to supports the delivery of our GM strategy with all the strategic and selective core partners.
• Delivering the Supplier Contingency Plan, identify and maintain active dialogue with the new sources of supply and maintain active dialogue for our high risk or sole suppliers in each sub‐category with the backup plan in place.
• Engaging and communicating with our suppliers, to identify the opportunity to improve the overall
• satisfaction rate in our Supplier Viewpoint score, develop and make sure the action plan is alive
• Implementing continuous improvement throughout product roadmap

• Logistics / supply chain experience or knowledge
• Report preparation and analysis

• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of Tesco processes and Systems will be an advantage
• MS Office (esp. Excel)
