Opis stanowiska
Responsibilities:
- Review healthcare facilities functional program and architectural drawings.
- Identify equipment needs, functions and schedule for procurement and installation.
- Evaluate existing medical facilities requirements and provide necessary planning recommendations.
- Prepare technical specifications for medical and non-medical equipment.
- Develop room-by-room equipment schedule and total bill of quantity, in accordance with project requirements and as part of an overall technical proposal for tender submissions.
- Provide equipment utility / MEP and environmental requirement data.
- Prepare budgetary cost estimates for medical and non-medical equipment as part of an overall financial proposal for tender submission.
- Perform medical equipment quality assurance review of Construction Document.
- Develop and review medical equipment procurement and bid documents.
- Liaison with respective equipment suppliers for all technical & commercial information of equipment, supply & delivery of equipment, and the testing & commissioning of equipment.
- Proactively contribute to the development and upkeep of the Medical Technology database of information related to medical and non-medical equipment planning, medical equipment standards general schedule and library system to provide guidelines for future project planning and design.
Wymagania
Education and skills
- Graduate degree in Engineering, Biomedical Technology or related Medical discipline from a well recognized College or University.
- Must be a Professional Registered Engineer, or an international certificate as Biomedical Equipment Engineer/ Specialist.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Sciences or related degree may be considered provided relevant experience is sufficient for employer satisfaction.
Experience
- Must have three (3) years minimum comprehensive experience in Medical Equipment Planning of medium and large health care facilities.
- Good writing and communication skills in English (both verbal and written) are essential.
- Proficient in the use of computers and computer software including Microsoft Office,.
- Knowledge in MS Project or Primavara.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD or Microstation preferred.
- Experience in the UE regulations on health care..
