Mechanical Design Specialist (Power Transformers)

As a result of growth of our organization we are looking for candidates to our new team for a position of Design Specialist in Global Engineering Center in Łódź. We are looking for open-minded engineers who are interested in development in multicultural environment.
Tasks:
- Mechanical designing, engineering and the technical documentation of power transformers according to national and international technical standards and customer requirements;
- Performing the designs & meetings the customer technical parameters for products and creating design documentation in accordance with agreed objectives;
- Optimization of design solutions to the best of technical and commercial aspects;
- Identifying problems and providing solutions;
- Managing & controlling of assigned projects and their targets;
- Close co-operation with international team members in the field of assigned engineering tasks;
- Participation in technical meetings and design reviews.
Key requirements:
- Technical University degree in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred);
- Proficient knowledge of 3D modeling programs (eg. ProEngineer) and MS Office;
- Knowledge of mechanical simulation tools and knowledge of heavy duty engineering materials and manufacturing processes;
- Fluent verbal and written English allowing easy communication in international environment, knowledge of another language is advantageous;
- Experience in working as a design engineer/design specialist position;
- Responsibility, independence and punctuality;
- Ability to work in team and excellent organization of own work;
- Analytical skills and ability to solve the problems quickly.
