Join our Manufacturing team as an Manufacturing Engineer
Provide manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base
- Planning production processes for assembly and test of electrical devices, documentation and co-ordination of complete processes and installations for production
- Initiating and implementing new processes and tooling to improve quality and productivity
- Supports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions
- Supporting and training production personnel in process related issues
- Creates and maintains process documentation
- Implement engineering changes
- Creates cell layouts and process improvement initiatives
- Uses Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processes
- Reviews and approves design/detail of new designs for producibility
- Leads multiple projects
- Process and update work order documentation
- Adheres to applicable Quality System requirements
- Checking on new technology and methods for their use and improvement potential
- Routinely updates management on status of projects
- Represents the company with our customers
- Provides advanced technical solutions
- Engineering degree, preferable in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
- 2-3 years experienced in manufacturing engineering
- Knowledgeable in Lean Management, 6sigma, Kaizen, Kanban
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work with people
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Complete understanding of applicable manufacturing processes
- Advanced knowledge on database management software skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Possible rare travels
