For our client, leading international distributor of free-to-play online and mobile games we are currently looking for:

Manager of Data and Analytics based in Berlin, Germany

Within this role you will revisit the current big data solution and take it to the next level. You will also manage a full product line, from capturing the requirements, design, develop, test, release and production environment. You will also have a chance to build an agile team from the scratch.

The perfect candidate should have at least 7 years of experience with processing and analyzing large volumes of data (including taking on scaling and performance challenges). Experience with SQL and RDBMS as well as NoSQL platforms (such as Cassandra, Mongo DB) and big data architectures (Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Hbase) is also required. Experience with streaming process tools and distributed messaging systems such as Kafka or Storm is essential. You should also be familiar with script languages and Linux systems. Fluent English is desirable.
