Position Description:
The trials and pilots (T&P) engineer is responsible for executing customer trials and pilots. Trials occur prior to officially releasing new product and software. Pilots occur once the product and software has completed full system test and is the first over the air introduction to a customer. The T&P engineer is required to work under the direction of the project manager and work in a team environment consisting of local NSN optimization engineers as well as with the customer. Significant overseas travel is required. You will have an opportunity to constantly develop your skills in IT and Telecommunications domains. You will work in a flexible and friendly multicultural environment.
Must have:
- Experience and knowledge with at least one of the following technologies required: LTE, Wi-Fi, GSM and/or WCDMA.
- Field integration or optimization experience preferred.
- Experience capturing and analyzing TCP/IP traces using Wireshark
- Experiences of IP performance tools such as IXIA or Spirent
- Proficient with Linux and Windows OS
- Effective communication skills
- Comfortable with international travel
- Collaborates well in a team environment. Enjoys working with customers and people from around the world.
