Daily activities
Radio Frequency is responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, testing and maintaining radio products’ software for various radio access technologies, including GSM, WCDMA, LTE and 5G. We are divided into self-organizing teams, working in Agile environment. Our products are developed mainly in C++ and C on several software architecture layers, including those close to hardware, as well as on higher levels of abstraction. We are also responsible for our products’ integration throughout the whole product life cycle, which is performed in the automated Continuous Integration environment.
As Linux Based Platform developer you will contribute to system architecture, provide software design and implementation, test the software and eventually troubleshoot and solve problems. Depending on your skills and interests you might work on driver development, kernel or tool chain upgrades and troubleshooting.
Our expectations:
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science,Telecommunications, Software Engineering or similar
- experience with C and C++ and Linux kernel-space/user-space/drivers development
- fluency with Linux OS programming interfaces
- good knowledge of embedded systems design principles
- fluency in Version Control System tools (Git)
- strong analytical skills
- effective teamwork skills
- advanced English, both spoken and written
Bonus points:
- experience in creating software architecture, redesigning and refactoring
- experience with boot-loaders
- experience with ARM architecture
- experience with real-time operating systems experiences
- knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies (SCRUM, TDD, CI)
- practice in u-boot development
- Google Unit Test framework (googletest, googlemock)
- familiarity with Yocto or Buildroot
- experience in Linux kernel space programming
- experience with bootloaders
- knowledge sharing abilities
- basic knowledge of telecommunications systems
