Logistic Data Maintenance (LDM) in EMEA is divided into three departments situated in Gothenburg, Ghent and Wrocław. We have close cooperation between our offices and work daily with colleagues in Europe. We use same routines and working methods and by our close cooperation we help each other to improve and use best practices, and contribute to Operational Development and Volvo Production System methodology.
LDM within Volvo Group Truck Operations Logistics Services (LS) validates and uploads master data information into our logistics operational systems. We are responsible to upload quality assured master data in timely manner into our various systems in order for transportation and invoicing to take place in a correct way. We are also responsible to inform and train related stakeholders so involved parties know in advance about changes that will occur. LDM in Wrocław is now looking for a candidate for a position of:
Logistic Data Maintenance Specialist (replacement contract)
Responsibilities:
- Day to day monitoring of system performance and act on deviations
- Continuous work with improvements to secure performance of daily tasks and projects
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding master data updates
- Training of internal and external stakeholders in our logistics operational systems
Requirements:
- Business focus and willing to drive changes
- Problem solver, is able to handle multiple assignments
- Service-minded, flexible and enjoys teamwork
- Takes initiative and has the ability to work independently
- Very good English and Polish skills (other languages is beneficial), B2 level is preferred
- Culture awareness, the department works with many countries
- Relevant work experience within distribution/logistics from an international environment is an advantage
- Analytical skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to quickly learn new system
- Knowledge of Production Systems methodology and ERP system will be an asset
