- Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems
- Provide technical support of Linux and Unix based production and development systems
- Install, configure, maintain Linux/Unix servers (Red Hat, Solaris) - basic to intermediate knowledge
- Plan, implement, analyze and assess the impact of changes on maintained systems
- Resolve incidents affecting the availability of the systems
- Suggest improvements for the supported environments
- Very good English
- Linux administration knowledge at intermediate level - previous work experience is a plus
- Knowledge of other Unix systems, especially Solaris would be an advantage
- Shell scripting skills - basic level
- VMWare, MS HyperV implementation and administration skills
- basic knowledge about Sybase and Oracle DB maintenance
- Ability to work analytically within a problem-solving environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
