Linux Systems Administrator / Level 3 Support Analyst

Job description
We are seeking outstanding System Administrator / Level 3Support Analyst responsible for applying expert analysis to provide support forproblem and change tickets for client servers surrounding the mostly Linuxvirtualized infrastructure. Problems are not routine or standardized and thecreation of documentation explaining the solution to the problem is required.Responsible for implementing changes to the client's environment. Possiblepayed off-shift coverage may be required. You must have a strong systemsadministration background and be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Managers and other members of the Support Team to resolve Server Environment related issues
- Making recommendation for technical solutions, maintenance, architecture improvements
- Provide root cause analysis for Production related problems
- Incident handling, diagnostic and management of systems/applications, in respect of the Business SLAs
- Full Management of Staging/PreProd/Production Environments
- OS Management of other Environments (DEV, INT, UAT, PROD)
- Installing and managing servers, virtualization, virtual machines, network configurations switches etc
- Ensuring all systems are adequately protected from data loss
- Systems/Applications monitoring and tracking
- Performing regular systems/applications upgrades
- Maintain/update production related documentation
- On-Call Support in a team rotation as we are providing 365/24/7 support
Requirements
- BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
- At least 3 years experience in Linux and Windows systems administration
- At least 3 years experience in at least one or more of the following: installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning and configuring relevant technologies
- At least 2 year experience in database administration (one or more - MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDb, etc)
- At least 1 year experience in Firewall administration
- One or more of LPI (LPIC-1,LPIC-2, LPIC-3) or RedHat Certification (RHCE/RHCSA) would be nice to have
- Knowledge and experience of VMware a distinct advantage
- Knowledge and experience of F5 BIG-IP or other traffic manager system is a big plus
- Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English essential
- Experience in Tomcat Administration would be a plus
- Experience in Active Directory Administration would be a big plus
- Experience in one or more of Ansible, Docker, CMDB, Backup Management, SAN would be a plus
- Knowledge of Python/Bash would be plus
- Self-starter with strong self-management skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
