The candidate will be a member of the Network Services - Engineering and Deployment Team - IP Services.
The global IP Services team architects, develops and manages the global DNS/DHCP services, as well as network services like Web proxy servers and content filtering services, Load Balancers and Cloud Components of Accenture.
The IP Services engineer provides ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms.
- Supporting DNS/DHCP architecture
- Administration of Web services like proxy servers, content filtering, load balancers
- Management of DNS/IP allocation services in Cloud
- Cooperation with registrar databases such as RIPE, APNIC, ARIN (registration, search, recovery, transfer of public IP Space)
- Quality of Service and network monitoring (Netflow)
- Global on-call responsibilities, incident escalations, implementations of planned changes
- Closely working with other groups and teams such as Network Operation Center, Network Engineering, Network Architecture and the product vendors
- Project work
- Constant skill development and improvement
- Previous work experience in IT area
- Medium experience in administration of Linux/Unix/Windows and networks (associate level in IT certification tracks)
- Understanding of routing and switching technologies and protocols
- Ability to work with customers to define requirements, develop solutions and implement those solutions on time and to budget
- Experience in creating solution design documents & diagrams
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Attention to detail and aptitude to learn new technologies
- Excellent English Language spoken and written communication and good documentation skills
