The position is responsible for providing legal support to the GBS Warsaw office and in part to the JTI Poland office, focusing on activities within Poland, including contract management and provision of business-relevant legal advice (which may include both external aspects, e.g. product marketing, or internal ones, e.g. support to local HR).

- Coordinting the workflow of standard sale related agreements (e.g. distribution contracts) and procurement related contracts (e.g. real estate, consumables and utilities), as well as operational contracts, loan, deposit, revolving credit facilities, finance agreements.
- Supporting and/or coordinating corporate governance activites, including but not limited to: coordinating approvals with HQ Legal, arranging PoAs in accordance with internal policies, maintaining relevant records.
- Supporting the People & Culture department with creation and maintenance of HR-related regulations and policies for local legal entitites, maintance of other internal policies.
- Maintenance of knowledge management sharepoint, including monitoring of changes in law relevant for the operation of local legal entities. Coordinating activities in the packaging/product content management system and marketing materials approval system. Preparation of drafts of internal memos based on external legal opinions, archiving of internal memos/legal opinions. Coordination of documents/evidence search for legal purposes.
- Master of Law preferrably qualified as legal advisor or undergoing qualification training.
- 'Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting and working from templates of a variety of contracts notably commercial, treasury and financing contracts. Experience in the capacity of an in-house lawyer providing general legal support to a business entity will be an advantage.
- Fluent Polish and English, any of the following languages will be an advantage: Greek, Romanian, Croatian, German or Ukrainian.
- Good knowledge of Polish Law, in particular: Civil, Commercial, Competition
- Good knowledge of EU Law
- Excellent contract drafting and review skills, ability to translate needs from the business into contractual wording and to negotiate a contract balancing quality and speed while applying an intelligent risk appetite.
- Full understanding of contract management and related legal support processes.
- Good communication skills
- Good planning, organising and prioritization skills
