Legal and Compliance Specialist with Italian
Location: Gdańsk
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice on general, recurring questions in the area of Compliance (e.g. Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Conflict of interest), including advice on the correct interpretation of LPC related Bayer policies and support Third Party Due Diligence checks and approvals
- Provide advice and contribute to approval workflows in the area of Code Compliance, advise on and handle approval workflows for donations and sponsorships
- Provide advice on general, recurring legal questions
- Handle the Integrated Compliance Management and support the Effectiveness Monitoring for certain compliance risk areas
- Provide Data Privacy consultancy and perform all elements of the global Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) for operational handling,
- Support and monitor the roll out and participation in LPC driven web based trainings, support LPC driven communication campaigns and advise business and platform functions on organization and responsibilities within LPC
- Implement LPC routines & (digital) tools of work organization
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor
Education:
- Academic degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, IT, Information Security, or controlling / audit or related discipline
- English language on native speaking or comparable level; minimum C1 Italian
Skill/experiences:
- A minimum of 1-3 years professional experience after graduation
- Work experience in the area of legal, compliance or data privacy work from an international law firm or a multinational company desirable
- Good communication and training skills, also vis-à-vis non-lawyers
- Goal-oriented, hands-on, proactive team player
- Good understanding of foreign cultures, ideally proven by time spent abroad
- Good knowledge of Compliance Management Systems desirable
- Knowledge on anti-corruption, anti-trust, data privacy or laws relevant to the health care or crop science industry helpful
- Process and IT affinity
- Good project management skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office and knowledge in handling of management tools
