Currently, for one of our clients, international automotive company, we are looking experienced, committed and charismatic candidates for the position of Lean Manager.
The person employed on that position will be reporting to Plant Manager and the role will be to implement the Lean Manufacturing philosophy across the Plant. The main tasks will include creating the Lean vision and implement a Lean strategy to reduce inventory & lead time by eliminating waste, driving measurable improvements in customer delivery, productivity, and product flow and also driving early integration of design & process development for New Product Introductions. Duties on that position will also include coaching and training employees/managers on Lean concepts and tools to identify and eliminate waste and guiding plant teams in developing and executing Lean plans to monitor and increase overall productivity.
The ideal candidate for this position is a person who has higher Engineering or business degree, have previous experience of working on similar or relevant position related to implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Suitable candidate should demonstrate ability to develop & implement strategies and also demonstrate solid performance, leadership and experience in lean. Previous experience with tools such as SMED, 5S’s, POKA-YOKE, KANBAN, CHAKU-CHAKU and experience in influencing, leading teams and driving change results orientation is required to be able to successfully carry out duties. To be successful on that positions candidate should demonstrate also strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to motivate others and achieve results, customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities.
