We are looking for a candidate for the position:
Purpose of the role:
- Deploying of state of the art logistics standards with the target to decrease the operational costs or / and to increase the quality level
- Ensuring that the standards and methods are available, understood and applied by the operational teams
- Supporting contract and site management in analyzing operations based on financial and operational KPIs
- Facilitating the continuous improvement culture within the operations
- Conducting formal trainings on the Lean Tools and Techniques to different target groups within the organizations and facilitates their usage internally
- Detecting the main areas for efficiency and quality improvements and driving together with the site management annual improvement plans
- Creating contents for external client communication of the planned, ongoing and executed initiatives in regards to efficiency or quality increase.
- Defining new or extends existing standards (Tools, Procedures, Methods) within defined championship area and coaches the BPE organization
- Coordinating the periodical assessments of the sites in regards to the SCA status and supporting sites on implementation of the required standards
- Joining periodical meeting with key clients, aligning with the clients on potential focus areas for CL initiatives and facilitates joint workshops and project with the involvement of the client
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Logistics, Management or similar)
- At least 3 years of operational leading position (shop floor supervisor, area manager, operations manager or similar)
- 1-2 years’ experience in project management, process planning or Lean Management / Process Improvements
- Fluent English (written, verbal)
- Familiarity with Lean tools and methodologies
- Knowledgeable of warehouse process concepts and methods
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-national and diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and target oriented
- Familiar with financial management practices (P&L, balance sheet, forecasting, and budgets)
- Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, organization skills
- Data Analysis (Excel, Access) and advanced proficiency in other Microsoft Office products
- Proficient in project management methodologies with a focus on managing solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals
