Card Simplification Train is newly established project to simplify all Consumer Card Systems in four Nordic Countries. Train follows SAFe agile framework and Development teams are located in three locations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Integration between Nordea legacy and new systems to Vendor systems for Card transactions
- Translation/Routing mechanisms from old to new systems
- Creating and maintaining microservices
- Leading talented group of developers
As it’s a new project you will have possibility to be part of creating new things and functionalities. You will also be Lead Developer in the project. The role is based in Warsaw.

Your experience and background:
- At least 7 years of Java Software Development
- Practical knowledge of practises like Domain driven design, Event sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, clean code and continuous integration.
- Experience on building distributed, highly available and high throughput applications
- Knowledge and experience on SQL/NoSQL
- Knowledge and hands on experience of Spring framework, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Kafka
- You are empowered to work on design decisions and ambiguous requirements
- You know how to lead other developers, have good communication skills and feel comfortable working with different stakeholders
