Polpharma Biologics is already finalizing its new R&D and manufacturing facility in Duchnice, Poland. In this new state-of-the facility we are currently establishing Research & Development department, to develop, optimize and characterize protein production processes from the laboratory phase to the large scale. For our R&D Department we are currently looking for Lab Management Specialist.
As Lab Management Specialist you will provide support to a team of scientists focused on the development and characterization of processes in R&D department.
- Support in preparation and update of the documentation in Technical Research and Development (TR&D) Department (e.g., procedures, protocols, reports, forms etc.) to contribute to high-quality scientific / technical documentation, and to meet quality standards and regulations
- Conducting TR&D documentation review according to requirements
- Monitoring training requirements in support of the revision or introduction of new procedures and work instructions
- Participate in implementation and use of electronic laboratory systems (such as data management system, documentation system, training etc.)
- Maintenance and monitoring of data integrity, including laboratory data records, verification of data in reports, equipment qualification status etc.
- Supporting preparations for external and internal audits
- Prepare metrics and status reports for assigned projects/activities
- Participate in improvement initiatives to further develop department operations and quality
- Additional task as required by the business needs
- Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, biology, chemistry or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry in similar role or performing similar duties
- Experience in writing SOPs, protocols and technical reports
- Experience in working with quality, process or analytical documentation and procedures
- Proficiency in using computer systems and data management (proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint as a minimum)
- Previous experience implementing and use of data management and other electronic lab system in bio- or pharmaceutical company will be a plus (e.g., ELN, SDMS, SAP, LIMS, EDMS etc.)
- Excellent English speaking and writing (including scientific/technical English)
- Passion for attention to detail
- Proven ability to cooperate effectively within group and within cross-functional project teams
- High level of initiative, independence, as well as excellent organizational skills
