Financial Controller
Place of work: Słupsk
Scope of responsibilities:
- Monthly and yearly closings including reporting package
- Responsibility for day-to-day accounting activities. Follow-up and reporting on relevant financial KPIs
- Forecasting, budgeting, variance analyzing and the annual financial report for company team
- Planning, conducting and reporting on internal controls to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company practices and policies within finance
- Provide support to Managing Director
- Financial controlling and compliance
- To be responsible for a number of designated improvement initiatives and responsibility for the ongoing monitoring of the implementation of all improvement initiatives
- Optimization of business processes
- Strengthen the professional accounting organization
- Follow up and reporting on financial performance and activities through benchmarking, GAP and trend analyses, deviation explanations, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in controlling, finance or accounting
- Audit experience will be appreciated
- 5+ years of practical experience in accounting and/or controlling
- Excellent bookkeeping and administrative skills
- Flexibility and hands-on approach
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail as well as ability to see the big picture
- Proactive approach
- Proficiency in MS Office,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
