In this role, you have the opportunity to
- Coordinate and facilitate projects related to purchasing sourcing and contracting activities
- Manage operational tasks, authorizations issues in order to ensure reliable and well performing tool’s environment (according to given directions and instructions)
- Perform extensive 1st line and/or 2nd line support activities
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal/external stake holders and customers
- Solving escalations and issues related to area of operations
- Identifying and participating (supporting) in procurement /improvement projects /initiatives;
- Identify improvement opportunities and translate these as specific project
- Dealing with service scope changes / amendments
- Ensuring procurement policies are followed and issues clarified
You are responsible for
- Perform and manage operations within area of responsibility
- Actively support Philips projects/central initiatives
- Maintain platform used for sourcing and contract management
- Work directly with internal stakeholders to ensure data requests are complete and comply with standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for business questions related to contracts
- Support in the development of forms, procedures and work instructions
Procurement Shared Services Center (PSSC) based in Łódź, Poland, is part of global Philips Procurement. Under the umbrella of Royal Philips, Philips Procurement manages and performs sourcing and procurement activities for (indirect) goods and services for Philips.
PSSC acts on behalf of the Philips businesses, handling every step in the purchasing process – from demand analysis to final delivery. PSSC delivers value added services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working, while delivering superior purchasing experiences by listening and acting on our customers’ feedback.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Bachelor degree (as a minimum)
- Fluent English (additional language may be required)
- Communication skills and Customer attitude
- Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy
- Team work
- Strong execution skills
- Self-driven and pro-active, able to work independently in virtual environment
- Interested in working in international environment in procurement area
- Target and quality driven
