The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
Responsibilities:
- Analysing reconciliation issues and resolving the discrepancies between the fund accounting books and custodian accounts
- Ensuring that all cash and securities outstanding items are properly justified and followed up
- Identifying risks to a timely delivery of reconciliation services and escalating the relevant issues to the Milan departments
- Continuously interacting with different Milan offices to clarify issues
- Assuring the accuracy and completeness of reconciliations and the respect of procedures
- Usage of main system platforms for reconciliation (Operation desk and Spider)
- Usage of main system platforms for investigation (i.e. Multifonds, Midas, Isiset)
- Managing and archiving of the documentation related to the daily activity
- Very good command of English, knowledge of Italian would be an asset
- Acquaintance with general accounting rules
- Knowledge of Investment Fund Industry and Securities Market will be an asset
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent
- Computer literacy in MS Office environment (especially Excel knowledge)
- Ability to work under time pressure and self-organize to ensure meeting all deadlines
