Your team:

Procurement Shared Services Center (PSSC) based in Łódź, Poland, is part of global Philips Procurement. Under the umbrella of Royal Philips, Philips Procurement manages and performs sourcing and procurement activities for (indirect) goods and services for Philips.

PSSC acts on behalf of the Philips businesses, handling every step in the purchasing process – from demand analysis to final delivery. PSSC delivers value added services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working, while delivering superior purchasing experiences by listening and acting on our customers' feedback.

 

Your challenge:

Performing day-to-day operation related to particular IMS tool and purchasing process. Working for US and EMEA market providing excellent level of support to internal clients. First 3 months you will be working only on a day shift, after that you will be working for 4 weeks on a day shift and following 2 weeks on a night (18:00 – 2:00) shift.

 

Your responsibility:

  • Providing day to day procurement support for Internal Sourcing/Procurement
  • Ensuring that all incoming enquiries are answered in a professional and efficient manner (e.g. via e-mail, telephone, or chat)
  • Gathering all required information as the first point of contact to ensure that customer enquiry can be resolved at earliest opportunity with minimal handoffs, capture an accurate record of a customer enquiry in the system
  • Cooperating with outsourcing partner to ensure that all task are align with Philips Procurement procedures
  • Providing appropriate reporting on a timely manner as well as ad-hoc reporting
  • Providing support to different procurement projects
  • Preparation and analysis of reports

Your experience:

  • Graduate with Bachelor or master degree
  • Fluent English is a must (both orally and in writing)
  • Knowledge of other languages (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, French) would be an asset
  • Ability to inspire commitment, arrange, communicate and influence virtually
  • Developed analytical thinking skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality customer service in a professional and efficient manner
  • Computer literacy essential and experience in MS office applications (Excel is a must)
  • Fast learner eager to gain experience within international company
