We are looking for a motivated system engineer who:
- designs and implements applications managing digital certificates and passwords that interact with directory services, inventory and configuration management systems and electronic workflow
- transfers requirements into technical solutions that are integrated into a heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure
- performs solution design and program coding as well as creating SW packages and configuration scripts
- performs problem analysis and is part of the supporting team when providing 3rd level support
- is working with both technical and business stakeholders across the company, i.e. technical architects, project leads, business analysts, testers and IT operations responsible
Your team
As Junior IT Security System Engineer for Credentials Management you will join the global team with team members mainly located in Wroclaw, Krakow, London and Zurich. The team’s goal is to rollout Staff authentication solutions to all business areas globally. This includes the following systems:
- A Smart Card Management System that manages the smart cards which the UBS staff is using to authenticate to the infrastructure & applications.
- A Password Management System that helps the UBS staff to manage their system passwords for the strategic platform as well as the legacy systems.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- A degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Good programming skills on a Linux or Windows platform: JAVA, Python, C#, PowerShell
- Good working knowledge of a Linux or Microsoft Windows OS: LDAP, Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server and their security configuration
- Good knowledge of PKI, authentication, and encryption technologies – such as TLS/SSL
- Analytical skills for problem investigation
- Strong communication skills in English are essential in order to liaise with stakeholders and team members
