6 months fixed term employment contract for the duration of a project, with the possibility of remaining within Stanley Black & Decker after this project
This role is required to Project Manage the finance issues and sub-issues within and drive them to conclusion working with business and IT resources, finance resources around Europe in the business and Global Shared Service employees in Warsaw.
- Proven work experience in Project Management (2 years experience desired) – building project plans with critical paths and milestones and holding people accountable for delivery of activities on the plan
- SAP experience would be an advantage
- Accounting experiences and qualification would be an advantage
- Solid communication in English
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent networking skills (for partnering with multiple different functions)
- Strong computing skills; experience in Microsoft Office or other project management tools
- Project Management
- Build a project plan that captures all finance issues post the go live of SAP. Categorise into system and process related issues and work with the business in building a timeline to resolve with allocated resources
- Ensure the project is managed on time within the allocated budget
- Develop mini projects from the main project plan for more significant time-consuming issues as necessary
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Manage the project plan to monitor and track progress. Host daily, weekly, monthly meetings to hold people accountable
- Weekly or monthly meetings to update Steer-Co members on status
- Act and escalate as necessary when issues go past their execution date
- Perform risk reviews to identify potential bottlenecks that may impede project success
- Ensure project participants are trained appropriately to be successful in project execution, UAT
- Help develop process documents, maps and workflows
- Travel is flexible, but may be required to host meetings and ensure project success
