Customer Activation Team provides application, boarding, product, system, sales process, customer and contract support to Elavon’s internal sales teams and/or external sales partners (Independent Sales Organizations, Agent/Referral Banks and Third Party POS Vendors).
- Provides day to day application support for sales personnel to ensure revenue is generated in a speedy manner and positive customer experience is delivered;
- A detailed understanding of the customer boarding process and potential break points;
- Provides product support (including terminal, software, value add products) which includes feature functionality, live demonstrations as well as system integration and development tools;
- Assists sales staff in identifying the appropriate contract for new merchant relationships;
- Assists sales in collecting required and additional data to move applications from signature through to open in a seamless and timely manner;
- Engage with customers in a professional and timely manner to advocate on behalf of our sales persons;
- Adheres to departmental SLA/KPI’s with a focus on driving revenues and quicker speed to board;
- Maintains current knowledge of required paperwork and supporting documentation, operating systems, procedures, card association regulations, and pricing methods;
- Researches and resolves issues for both internal and external sales staff;
- Processes third party certification requests as well as validating certified vendors on the Elavon platform;
- Maintains internal websites with current information on card schemes and pricing, and notifies sales teams of changes.
- Very good knowledge of English;
- At least good knowledge of Norwegian;
- Strong communication and customer service skills;
- Accuracy in passing of financial entries and in working with documentation;
- Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn;
- Analytical skills;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
