Our Client is a teleshopping network company offering distance selling and e-commerce services in Poland.
Your task as a (Junior) Category Manager includes increasing the profitability of our existing products and the development of new assortments for our existing market channels (teleshopping, e-commerce, retail). The execution (To-Go-Market) of the entire assortment is part of your basic responsibility.
To do both you are an active part of a team of category management as well as a major player in a planning team. To develop innovative products and assortments is one of your tasks, to analyse the market on the basis of KPIs and generate innovate solutions completes your duties.
- Assortment planning and managing product ranges over the entire product life cycle.
- Planning and controlling the buying budget of the relevant categories based on company targets.
- Reporting and monitoring categories performance (using standardized KPIs).
- Cooperating with the existing major suppliers and acquiring of new vendors.
- Building up strong partnership and leading price and contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Carrying out market and product mix analyses.
- Developing and implementing of marketing and promotional activities.
- Completion of the study of business management.
- Minimum 1 year of experience within strategic purchasing in the non-food assortment
- Strong analytical skills and a high sense for numbers.
- Explicit non-food product/assortment development know how.
- Modern retail or e-commerce experience will be a benefit.
- Good English skills.
