For our Client, dynamic global IT company, we are looking for:
Business Innovation PMO Jr Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate collection of weekly Application Development and Infrastructure status reports
- Update weekly PMO project dashboard and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Consolidate and distribute weekly executive status pack with executive summary/highlights
- Identify critical portfolio issues and risks for management review and action
- Review all project status reports and identify PM discipline opportunities for review with Delivery Managers and Project Managers
- Identify consistent themes for PM discipline continuous improvement opportunities
- Support the implementation of required improvements to weekly portfolio status reporting cadence processes
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes for project budget forecasting and planning
- Generate and maintain portfolio timelines and Gantt charts including project interdependencies
- Support communications with the Business Innovation PM community
- Support implementation of standard project stakeholder communications
- Support Head of PMO with project reviews and remediation efforts
- Support the generation and implementation of project management methods and standards
- Support Head of PMO with the implementation of standard project management and collaboration tools
- Conduct required activities to support PMO resource management plan
- Support project teams with project initiation and planning activities
- Facilitate discussions with project stakeholders to define all project tasks and resource needs
- Monitor progress of projects across the portfolio
- Identify portfolio level issues and risks
- Identify and support the management of interdependencies between projects across the portfolio
- Ensure company standards and policies are followed
- Support project teams in documenting and implementing lessons learned
- Support the generation and tracking of PMO performance metrics
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a project coordinator and/or Project Manager for small and medium sized projects
- Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a global setting including multiple cultures, time zones and potential language barriers
- Formal Project Management Training or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Visio
