Our client is a global consulting organisation with offices in several countries around the world. At the moment there is the need for several candidates for the role of Senior Java Developer / Team leader.
JAVA Team Leader/Architect

Duties/responsibilities of the role include:
- Working for a leading software house specializing in card payment processing
- Responsible for a few components and internal processes
- Design JAVA based solutions for the applications
- Reviewing technical deliverables ? code, documentation, test plans
- Develop new functionality according to the provided specifications and according to internal standards
- Working closely with the Project Managers and technical leads to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
- Being an active member of Cortex Technical Board, advising on new Cortex architecture, performance improvements, migration to the new technology stack etc.
- Working closely with the IST Java Development Team on the integrated solution, which will be used by both the systems report to the Senior Development Manager
Requirements:
- Candidate with degree from a recognized University with a technology degree of a good grade
- Candidate should have verifiable JAVA programming experience in the enterprise environment (minimum 4 years) using UNIX or LINUX operating systems
- Candidate must have a practical experience working with big enterprise systems processing millions of on-line and off-line transactions
- Candidate should preferably have practical experience in the card payments area
- Strong communication skills
- Showing strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to resolve complex problems
- Team player, ambitious, self-starter
- Dedication, commitment, flexibility
- Willing to take responsibility for any task/project delivery assigned
- Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines ? installing and upgrading critical systems; working in a commercial environment
- Willing to take on more responsibilities and direct reports as team is expanded
