Welcome to Market Data Hub team. We are creating highly available services and infrastructure around market data and make it available across the value chain. Market Data Hub is a business-critical service that is required for Nordea to trade, advise clients, calculate risk, conduct research and create reports.
What you will be doing:
- Creating high performance, reactive API and backend based on modern technology stack
- Working on providing best in class tools for data management of Nordea Static Data.
- Designing and implementing Market Data HUB using Java and Kotlin
- Review the code on a regular basis and decide on refactoring, improvements in the code
- As Software Developer, you will play a valuable role in our agile team by designing and developing solutions in our project that meet business requirements.
You’ll join the development team that cooperates closely with the Product Owner and other business representatives. The role is based in Gdańsk, however the team is geographically distributed.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have 3y+ experience as a developer
- Have good understanding of Java and Kotlin
- Will be able to clarify requirements with business with good English
- Know concepts of good programming.
Your experience and background:
- Knowledge and experience in JVM
- Knowledge of Docker, Kafka would be an advantage
- Knowledge and ability to use Clean Code principles
- Familiarity with tools like Bamboo, GIT, Jira
- Good English both in writing and speaking
