About this opportunity
Welcome to the APC team. As IT Developer, you’ll play a valuable role in implementation of the business critical Apex Collateral system by developing the interfaces and surrounding systems to ensure completeness, timeliness and and excellent quality of data for managing credit risk on trading activities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Being a part of an international scrum team and working close together with business, application maintenance and other technology areas to deliver on the backlog and move toward the strategic target picture for the environment
- Design and develop new adaptors and data flows, and participate in the continuous upgrade towards a more streaming-like architecture
- Automating manual repetitive work, improving delivery pipelines and reducing technical debt
- Closely collaborating with business and other IT areas

Your experience and background:
Required qualifications:
- Java 8+ developer with at least 3 years of experience as a developer
- Experience with Bash, Powershell, MQ
- Experience with Akka
- Experience with Oracle and GIT
- Goal oriented with a proven track record of meeting goals and deliveries
- Enjoys interaction with other people
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Advantageous qualifications:
- Experience with C++
- Experience with agile development
- Experience with Jira, Bamboo, IntelliJ, Gradle (or other CI/CD)
- Experience with Kafka or streaming technologies
- Experience with SSL certificates, Internet security
- Experience in banking
- Relevant university qualifications
