Your new company
For our Client, one of the largest global custodian and global asset managers, we are searching for skilled, focused on quality and details individual that is willing to develop his/her skills as a Java Developer. The role is to facilitate the growth of a modern Client Technology Solutions, located in Poland, Wroclaw.

Your new role
Our Client is building small scrum team and are looking for Java developers that are focused on quality and details. Their goal is to deliver services that are responsive and resilient; services that rely on asynchronous communication; are scalable and elastic, so if you’ve heard about Reactive Manifesto or even followed its rules in development, then it will be your big advantage.
For our Client we are looking for developers that think about services they are working on holistically, so apart functional aspect, they do remember that to provide good production support service needs to be properly monitored; to stay calm after each release it needs to be thoroughly tested; to minimize amount of documentation and ease life of new joiners code must be self-explanatory and self-documenting. We are also looking for developers that are curious about new tools, languages and coding techniques, but are aware that to deliver good service you must not choose newest technology, but the one that is appropriate for given problem. Moreover we are looking for developers that are a little lazy; developers that are seeking for reuse and automation and prefer simple solutions over sophisticated ones. At the same time those developers don’t hide behind procedures but just make things done. 

What you'll need to succeed
Strong communication skills, both face to face and with remote locations.
3-6 years of experience in Java EE.
Formal education in Computer Science or Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience in: web application frameworks (preferably Spring), Java Application Servers (preferably Apache Tomcat), building Reporting Data Warehouse & experience in ETL, working with offshore teams for delivering the projects.
Knowledge of PLSQL and experience in working with Oracle.
Web Services (REST preferable)
Hadoop and NoSQL database experience a plus
Experience working with Reporting frameworks or vendor solution (Jasper, Tableau, SSRS) a plus
