We are currently searching for one IT support engineer to join our team that is responsible for support for over 150 servers and deployment of the web applications for the largest leaders of travel insurance worldwide. You will work within an international team so good English is mandatory. You must have a good IT background and be willing to learn new technologies.

Job description

Work closely with Production Team and other members of the Support Team to resolve Server Environment related issues

Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant estimate
-
Communicate to the Managers with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays
-
Making recommendation for maintenance improvements
-
Provide root cause analysis for Production related problems to Data Center
-
Incident handling, diagnostic and management of applications and systems
-
Deploy new releases in production
-
Management of DEV/UAT/PROD Environments
-
Management of Database servers
-
Application management in production
-
Work with business partners across Europe
-
Maintain/update production related documentation
-
On-Call Support in a team rotation as we are providing 365/24/7 support
Requirements
-
BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
-
2 years minimum experience in Linux, Apache & Tomcat Administration
-
1 years minimum experience in MySQL & SQL Administration
-
Basic Knowledge of Python or Java
-
Knowledge of Salt, Ansible is a plus
-
Knowledge of Nagios, Truesight, AppDynamics, Site24x7 is a plus
-
Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA is a plus
-
Self-starter with strong self-management skills
-
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Good English speaking/writing
