IT Specialist (Spanish)
Job Description
- Work on the 2nd line support;
- Resolve technical problems;
- Customer support;
- The receipt of problems reported by users, concerning the operation or interpretation of one or more information systems;
- The coordination of rapid and appropriate responses, including: channeling requests for help to appropriate functions for resolution, monitoring progress;
- Keeping users appraised of progress;
- The maintenance of an inventory of equipment supported by the Help Desk together with logs of user details, problems and resolutions, for administration and planning purposes;
- Shift work.
- Information Technology or Technical Degree;
- Very good knowledge of English and Spanish (min. B2);
- Experience as 1st/2nd line support engineer;
- Excellent Windows knowledge - Windows 7 and Windows XP;
- Networking troubleshooting skills;
- Network knowledge and at least basics about: ISDN, ATM, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Q931, DASS, QSIG, xDSL - Advanced knowledge of ICT (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks etc;
- Knowledge/expertise of SAP, Oracle, VDI, VCloud Suite, Cloud Provisioning;
- Active Directory or MS Exchange knowledge/experience;
- Lotus Notes/Domino administration, knowledge of Same Time, and Traveler would be an advantage.
