IT Security Specialist

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Security
- 5+ years in IT Security, including developing and documenting security architecture and plans, strategic, tactical and project plans
- Information security certification required at least in one of CISSP/CISM/CISA/CEH
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks such as ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT, and NIST is preferred
- Project Management experience and experience with creating and managing project plans is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Developing an information security strategy aligned with business goals and objectives and aligning it with corporate governance
- Overseeing the establishment, implementation and adherence to policies and standards that guide and support the terms of the information security strategy
- Analyzing and evaluating security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement
- Advising Chief Technology Architect and making recommendations regarding appropriate physical and technical security controls to fulfill the commercial and business requirements
- Recommending security procedures for company’s infrastructure, system acquisition, system development, system maintenance, access control, and reporting tools
- Monitoring security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives
- Managing the information security incident management program to ensure prevention, detection, containment and correction of security breaches
- Identifying, investigating and resolving security breaches
- Coordinating with vendors, auditors, executive management and user departments to enhance information security
- Developing budgets for security operations
