IT Scrum Master (new shared service)
Job Description:

Working in a matrixed managed, fast paced technology team. Driving the delivery of the team forward and protect the team from distractions so they can focus on their goals.

Working with the product owners and head of delivery to report on teams and progress.

Coaching, teaching and mentoring your team to ensure they can deliver the best solutions.

Leading workshops with business stakeholders and development teams.

Facilitating and contributing in Agile Ceremonies including: Daily Scrum meetings; Demos; Retrospectives; Sprint planning; Product backlog refinement. Taking responsibility for the teams adoption and practice of Agile.

Working with other Scrum masters to maximize and standardize the effectiveness of all teams
Requirements:

Education: Business Admin/Technical Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent experience

Understanding and experience with:
-
Common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
-
Iterative development
-
Software development processes and procedures
Understanding:
-
Value of commitments to delivery made by a development team

Incremental delivery and the value of metrics
-
Backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
Preferred
- Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance or similar
