JYSK NORDIC is expanding its IT activities in Gdańsk, Poland – we are therefore looking for two new IT Operations Specialists. You will become part of a company with high ambitions, who is best in class, who works with future-proof technology and is truly international.
JYSK wants to be second-to-none in all the 19 countries where we are represented. To realize this ambition we are building the best and most professional IT operation team in Gdańsk.
As a part of the IT Operations Team in JYSK, you will have an important role in supporting, maintaining and developing the IT environment in our stores, as well as the administrative IT environment found in our Head Offices and Distribution Centres.
You will coordinate, interact and work together with other IT departments in JYSK, within a complex IT setup. This includes among others multiple SAP solutions, Network Department, Server Department and in-house Java developers. Besides that, JYSK makes use of external consultants, cooperate with hosting partners and several IT partners in order to deliver and secure the ambitions of JYSK.
Some of the roadmap projects for this year are, mobile device management (MDM) as a part of a JYSK mobility concept, upgrade of client OS to Windows 10, Electronic Shelf Labels in 3 countries using colored E-paper technology.
You will become part of a team of 7 people, located at Gdańsk, working as part of the IT Store Operations department.
Your primary responsibilities:

Administer and provide support for Electronic Shelf Labels system for JYSK stores,

Participate actively in the daily operations of the JYSK IT environment consisting of approximately 1000 stores and 13 head offices in 19 countries,

Handle technical troubleshooting regarding our business applications,

Handle 2nd Level support tasks and incidents from our service desk software,
-
Support our 1st level support on general technical matters,
-
Maintain and upgrade software at our store environment,
-
Maintain and upgrade administrative IT equipment.
What (among others) will you be dealing with?

Electronic Shelf Labels system, based on high frequency radio transmission, with e-paper display and NFC technologies,

Stores support systems, including remote desktop work schedule planner, Point of Sale Java based frontend, email client and more,

Microsoft Windows OS (7 / 8.1 / 10),

Scripting (PowerShell / batch / VBS),

Microsoft SCCM (OS and software deployment, hardware & software inventory, reporting, etc.),

Microsoft Exchange 2010 (user/mailbox administration),

Microsoft Server systems,
-
Microsoft Office 2007/2013.
