JYSK NORDIC is expanding its IT activities in Gdańsk, Poland – we are therefore looking for IT Network Specialist. You will become part of a company with high ambitions, who is best in class, who works with future-proof technology and is truly international.
As a part of the IT Operations Team in JYSK, you will have an important role in supporting, maintaining and developing the IT environment in our stores, as well as the administrative IT environment found in our Head Offices and Distribution Centres.
You will coordinate, interact and work together with other IT departments in JYSK, within a complex IT setup. We have a global IP network spanning all 19 countries. It is based on Cisco routers, switches and access points. Add to this network services like DHCP, DNS, proxying, load balancing, WAN optimization, and many more. We are looking for an IT Network Specialist to our IT Network & Security team.
You will become part of an international team of 7 people and be placed in the IT Operations group in Gdańsk.
Your primary responsibilities:

Participate actively in the daily operations of JYSK’s network and IT security,

Handle technical troubleshooting related to network, security and VoIP,

Handle 3rd Level support tasks and incidents,

Contribute to projects.

What do we expect from you?

You are a good communicator in speaking and in writing, both Polish and English,

You have experience with Cisco networks. Cisco certifications are not required, but definitely a plus,

You have a general knowledge of network services, like DHCP, DNS, proxying, load balancing, WAN optimization, etc.,

You understand IT security matters, and can judge specific security issues professionally and with common sense,

You like helping others in resolving their IT problems.
