IT Infrastructure Specialist from our Team are engaged in various interesting projects. Now we are looking for a colleague, who will get engaged in our trade flow management, custody and portfolio management platform and who will play a valuable role in supporting business from IT side and cooperate to provide the best availability of the solution, launch and conduct maintenance work and improvement projects around it.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing Production and Pre-Production Platform in terms of its Linux server side, Oracle database and Graphical User Interface
- Coordinate/Implement accepted requirements/upgrades into the system
- Perform weekly/monthly/yearly tasks related to IT Area (e.g. Disaster Recovery Tests, IT Security/Penetration Tests)
- Proceeding with IT/technical tasks basing on Standard Operation Procedures
- Proceeding with daily manual tasks in our trade flow management, custody and portfolio management platform Graphical User Interfaces and SQL
- Working closely with the Business / IT stakeholders
- Acting as a link of technical team with other technical teams and business areas, helping to communicate in an accurate manner the business requirements
- Ensuring that the technical team delivers the right functionality to the business
- Managing (editing/improving/correcting) Application Operations knowledge base
- Participating out of office on-call

- Be able to participate/conduct out of office hours patching/releases of system updates (occasional overtime)
Your experience and background:
- Fluency in terms management of Linux + simple Bash scripting and the will to improve your skills in terms of the IT area (Certified Red Hat System Administrator as an advantage)
- Understanding of SQL and the will improve and build own queries (experience with Oracle SQL as an advantage)
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Understanding of Monitoring methodology/Systems (e.g. Prometheus /Grafana /Geneos /Splunk)
- Understanding of ticket management systems like Remedy/Helix
- Understanding of Agile/ITIL methodology
- Understanding of Atlassian Tools (JIRA/Confluence/Bamboo/BitBucket)
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in IT Area (Service Desk/Operations)
- Familiar with CI/CD/Ansible/GIT and will to extend the knowledge in terms of automations and DevOps methodology
- Knowledge about risk, banking, financial/trading systems will be an advantage
- Experience working with trade flow management, custody and portfolio management platform Graphical User Interfaces as an advantage
