We are looking for IT Developer having experience in developing code in Java 1.8+ and Spring 4.0+ and building backend applications.
We are looking for strong experience related with building Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment pipelines in software development
60% of bandwidth you will spent on solving architectural problems and building tools and processes which automate CI/CD pipelines.
30% of bandwidth you will spend on coding and reviewing code. You will recommend changes to feature teams.
10% of bandwidth you will spend on supporting release management while releasing software on production environments.
Through regular releases of banking products: e-mortgages, loan-promise, credit-case, ‘what can I afford’ our teams are delivering business value to Nordea clients.

As a Backend Developer you will support Nordea on developing new feature for existing banking applications.
Our applications are are used by banking advisors to serve activities related to offering mortgages to our clients in Nordic countries.
And as CI/CD developer you will:
- Deeply analyse code and propose changes in the code-base
- Perform regular code reviews and support feature teams in improving development processes
- Cooperate with Architects, IT Coordination leads, Business Analyst, Product Managers and Product Owners
- Be responsible for Continuos Delivery Pipeline for banking products
- Participate in building new releases
- Drive IT Automation and DevOps culture in a train
- Lead topics related with CI/CD and communicate in English every day
Core teams are located in Nordics and Poland. Our offices in Poland are located in Gdynia and Warsaw. We want to build also one team in Łódź.
The role is based in Gdynia or Gdańsk, Poland.
