You’ll join Deployment Support unit where we are a bridge between project/development process and Change Management and we are organised around IT capabilities and a business-alignment function as the last mile the software delivery pipeline. You’ll have a big opportunity to work across banking systems in architecture using the high-tech solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the deployment on the pre-production environment
- Checking the impact of changes on IT infrastructure
- Coordination of build preparation and fixes installation:
- Technical verification of release candidates
- Analysis of the readiness of the release (FDR) deployment plan
- Troubleshooting build and deployment issues
- Software lifecycle management
- Supporting business critical flows tests
- Setting up automation around log analysis
- Experimenting and learning about new techniques and opportunities that can benefit Nordea, to build and prepare for the future

Your profile and background:
- Fuency in written and spoken English
- Eucational IT background proved with Bachelor’s/Master's degree
Plus any combination of the below listed skills. (Please note no one expects all of them to be demonstrated, however – the more the better):
- Understanding technology related to DevOps
- Excellent understanding what else drives quality, other than just code quality when developing and delivering software
- Continuous Integration and Deployment experience, utilising tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Ansible or Puppet, in co-operation with GIT/Bitbucket and Nexus/Artifactory
- Understanding of tests frameworks (e.g. Selenium)
- Experience on Oracle (Database, Weblogic, SOA) and IBM (DB2, MQ Series, DataStage, WAS, CDC)
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities, using tools like Splunk and AppDynamics
- Strong scripting skills preferred
- An additional advantage will be knowledge of solutions based on containerization
