About this opportunity
Welcome to the IT Analysis Credit Risk team in Group Functions Technology. We add value by translating business needs to operational and software requirements and then verifying their validity and priority. As IT Analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in providing our customers with the Master Data Management solution.
Master Data Management (MDM) is the business owner and single point of contact for:
- Customer & Counterparty Data
- Master Data & Reference Data.
We build the bridge between business processes and data management. We focus on simplification and compliance by leverage a single trusted view of high-quality master data across all channels and in all business processes enabling digitalization and the future relationship bank of Nordea Group.
MDM key objectives and milestones:
- Product & Capability Development - Harmonize data and processes across sources, stakeholders and consumers to facilitate unification and simplification
- Data Correction - Ensuring that data quality isuues in authoritative sources and deliveries are addressed
- Data Quality - To perform Data Quality monitoring of our Data Assets and Data Custodian services
- Enrichment of Data - Enrich data with external or internal data to provide a richer view of, or validate, the core data
- Rules & Controls - Life Cycle Management and CRUD of data within our subject data areas
- Manage Master Data Store - Aggregate masterdata from authoritative sources and distribute to consumers across Nordea
- Simpification & Cost Efficiency - Drive simplification through consolidation and service consumers as a single trusted source
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a bridge between Business and IT,
- drive thinkgs (make things happen),
- Working with technical requirements specifications
- Working within IT solutions for MDM area
- Cooperating with multiple stakeholders from different countries in alignment with the target picture to enable sustainable solutions
- Eliciting requirements (functional and non-functional) by cooperating with different stakeholders
- Securing requirements traceability during smooth end-to-end development
- Being responsible for requirements documentation and quality improvement

Your experience and background:
- Experience in business and IT analysis
- Excellent communication skills, professional level of English
- Practical knowledge of SQL
- Experience of using Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of process modelling and UML
- BPMN knowledge will be an advantage
- Business knowledge Master Data Management of will be an advantage
- Security competence background will be an advantage
