HRK ICT for a greenfield project in manufacturing sector is recruting an IS Manager - EMEA. This role resides at the intersection of business and technology, and provides value by delivering technology-enabled solutions to business needs. The position directly reports to the Global Director of Information Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
IS Department Leadership (50%)
- Serve as the on-premise Information Services leader for the launch and continued operations of manufacturing and advance fulfillment for Poland/EMEA region.
- Team with globally distributed Information Services resources to deliver solutions suitable for a global organization.
- Build, manage, and develop the Information Services team within the Poland/EMEA location. Align team to company, department, and location goals and objectives.
- Define and contribute to an enterprise IS strategy over a multiple year planning horizon which articulates the technology portfolios, processes, and people required to deliver solutions for business needs.
- Accountable for identifying, selecting, and managing the performance of external IT service providers.
- Responsible for capital and expense budgets.
Technical Solution Leadership (25%)
- Manages and maintains technology portfolios. Externally monitors for emerging solutions.
- Leads a broad solution breadth, including business applications and infrastructure.
- Partners with global teammates to drive system architecture; buy vs. build decisions; monitoring and implementation methodologies.
- Assigns projects and work to team-members. Provides both oversight and hands-on assistance with solution deployment.
- Drives continuous improvement to IS processes, technologies, applications, and infrastructure.
Business Collaboration (25%)
- Partners with Poland/EMEA business leaders to understand strategic needs; Propose, select, and prioritize technology solutions.
- Solution innovation - Identifies and envisions solutions which deliver business value.
- Navigates a matrix organization to arrive at solutions suitable for multiple stakeholders and teammates.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Minimum of 6 years of IS management experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual with English and Polish required.
- Leadership skills to articulate vision and strategy within the organization; leading direct reports at multiple locations, providing guidance and development; proactively identifies and mitigate department needs and risks.
- Breadth of information services domain experience and understanding, including application development; client/device; server; database; network & telecommunications; collaboration; security.
- Proficiency with large scale project management and proven ability to implement within schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
- Experienced with implementing and supporting software packages (CAD, PLM, CRM, ERP, WMS, SCM) as well as custom software development. Experience with Infor XA, IBM iSeries, Microsoft Dynamics AX, or PTC PDMLink desirable.
