IP Attorney
Our Client is one of the world's biggest technology companies. Due to permanent strive for innovation the company is looking for a highly qualified and motivated European and Polish Patent Attorney who is able to handle a broad range of intellectual property matters. The successful candidate will join the Office of Intellectual Property Counsel covering global structures of the company and will be responsible for Poland and CEE region.
Job description:
- Being an integral member of Company's global Office of Intellectual Property Counsel
- Fostering IP awareness and sensitivity across the organization by providing comprehensive counseling and client education.
- Conception and implementation of successful patent strategies
- Identifying inventions in close collaboration with the laboratory and marketing teams
- Drafting, filing, prosecution and enforcement of utility models and patent applications
- Preparing legal opinions and freedom-to-operate analyses
- Drafting and negotiation of IP related agreements in close cooperation with Legal Counsel of Company in Poland
- Supporting Company's brand building strategies by working closely with marketing teams and internal and external trademark attorneys
- University degree in law or sciences (i.e. chemistry)
- Registered European and Polish Patent Attorney
- At least 3 years experience in industry or a law firm
- Substantial record of advising on Commercial & Intellectual Property Matters
- Excellent command of the Polish and English languages
- Team player with strong communication skills and a pro-active, solution-oriented working style
