Our client is a global networking and communication vendor which has grown rapidly over the last few years through a combination of organic expansion and acquisition.

 

Role:

The Sales Engineer is responsible for technical and day to day relationship management for the nominated customer accounts within the region. This covers the complete portfolio of products including those of business partners.

The Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products, and developing the sales of existing and new products in the assigned region.

The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle for the assigned customers/region

 

Responsibilities:

  • Product demonstrations (Pre-Sales)
  • Representation at conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs
  • The key technical contact for customers
  • Link between Customer and Engineering teams
  • Travel throughout sales territory.
  • To ensure customer satisfaction or escalate as appropriate
  • To provide all reports on time and with the requested level of detail

Customer relationships:

  • budget/business case holders and beneficiaries
  • Solutions Selectors
  • Procurement

Internal relationships:

  • project managers,
  • product managers
  • other sales team colleagues
  • direct reports and
  • those allocated to support activities with nominated customers
Wymagania:

Ideal candidate must be:

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical sales and knowledge of technology.
  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally (both Polish and English) in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
  • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for extensive travel.

Experience:

Ideally the Sales Engineer will have a working technical background in the Telco or Communications and be comfortable engaging in detail with the customer technical community in order to understand needs and propose solutions
