The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas" operational scope in Poland.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carry out compliance operations on the funds in order to ensure that fund"s assets comply with legal and investment policy requirements
- Perform investment compliance controls using a dedicated IT too
- Analyse and document all the reported investment compliance exceptions
- Identify and qualify investment compliance breach including the origin of the incident
- Perform NAV reviews and audit certifications
- Analysis of the contractual and legal requirements and implementation into the compliance monitoring system
- Setup and maintenance of funds master data and investment compliance rules in a dedicated IT tool
- Contribute to the completion and maintenance of operational procedures in Depotbank Compliance scopeSupport the integration of the new client's operational activity
- Administer the effectiveness of daily operations in your area
- Cooperate on the delivery operational service levels agreed with clients, internally and externally
- Take part in the development of new products and servicesComply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Cooperate with internal and external audit and operational risk management
- Complete the "monthly business checklist" and deliver it on time
We are looking for you, if you:
- Have University degree or equivalent professional experience
- Have good knowledge of the investment funds industry and securities market
- Have minimum 1 year of experience in the investment fund industry
- Are fluent in English
- Are advanced in German
- Have good knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of financial applications (Bloomberg, etc.) would be considered as an advantage
- Have outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- Are highly accurate, dedicated to quality and stress resilient
